Hi, my name is Ioannis Laftsoglou, and I created the brand Databall to provide football analysis services online. My aim is to support football players, coaches, and agents through performance analysis, offering clear feedback on strengths and weaknesses for both players and teams. I can produce detailed scouting reports, highlight videos to showcase skills, and statistic cards that give an objective view based on performance data.

A BIT ABOUT ME
Ioannis Laftsoglou is a football scout, football analyst, and the inventor of the innovative Space-Time Ball Possession (STBP) metric, a data-driven model designed to redefine how football dominance and ball possession are analysed within modern football analytics.
Since 2017, he has worked within professional football environments across the Premier League and EFL Championship, contributing to scouting, recruitment, opposition analysis, and video analysis projects for clubs including Nottingham Forest FC, Coventry City FC, and Derby County FC.
Ioannis graduated with Distinction in MSc Performance Analysis in Football from GIS (Global Institute of Sport) / UCFB (University Campus of Football Business) Etihad Campus Manchester in 2023 and previously earned a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Sport Management from University of Derby in 2021. Alongside his academic studies and professional football experience, he holds multiple FA (The Football Association) and PFSA (Professional Football Scouting Association) scouting qualifications, as well as FA coaching badges in both football and futsal.
